That's the reason why there is a unison2.9.1 packages. I don't want to merge this two packages to provide 2 executable in the same package ( because there is only one upstream tarball ). Please install unison2.9.1, which aims specifically to be able to sync with woody/sarge system. Let me know, if this is sufficient to close the bug...
