Package: ices2 Version: 2.0.1-1 Severity: normal I have a couple mp3s that are reported by /usr/bin/file to be Monaural instead of JntStereo (I assume that means mono/single channel instead of stereo/dual channel?).
mpg321 plays these files correctly when I have it play them itself, but when I tell mpg321 to send the PCM to stdout and pipe it to ices2, when I listen to the broadcast the playback is twice the speed it should be. I can send you an example mp3 if you need it. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.20-8 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) (ignored: LC_ALL set to C) Versions of packages ices2 depends on: ii libasound2 1.0.8-3 ALSA library ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libogg0 1.1.2-1 Ogg Bitstream Library ii libshout3 2.1-3 MP3/Ogg Vorbis broadcast streaming ii libvorbis0a 1.1.0-1 The Vorbis General Audio Compressi ii libvorbisenc2 1.1.0-1 The Vorbis General Audio Compressi ii libxml2 2.6.16-7 GNOME XML library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information ______________________________________________________________________ This email has been scanned by the MessageLabs Email Security System.
