Package: inkscape
Version: 0.45.1-1
Severity: wishlist

When guides are hidden from view (View -> Guides), objects will still
snap to the (now invisible) guides. While the snapping can still be
disabled temporarily (by pressing down on shift key, I think), users may
not expect invisible guides to play a role in positioning an object, and
I think other graphics programs (such as those from Adobe) have objects
snap to guides or rulers when they are invisible.

Andrzej
