After downloading foomatic-filters from www.linuxprinting.org, I moved foomatic-rip to the cups filter directory, and printing was successful. Debian foomatic-filters may be the same package, but 'apt-cache show' states that it needs the foomatic-db-engine to be useful, and I do not have that installed. I suggest that either foomatic-rip be included in the cupsys package, or that a warning be posted somewhere that at least some systems require it. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
