After my last upgrade I get spammed by cron. The poller.php output is reporting that some hosts aren't responding. (the are down). Every 5 minutes I get emails like these: Timeout: No Response from pc2:161. Timeout: No Response from pc3:161. Timeout: No Response from elite:161. * Cacti shoudn't report it at all. (up/down state is already listed in the cacti page) * Cacti shouln't report it every 5 minutes. (run every 5 minutes, send errors daily. * If there are errors reported there should be comments with them. Something like "Cacti couldn't get statistics from <host>, make sure there is an SNMP agent running." - -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-10-amd64-k8 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages cacti depends on: ii apache 1.3.33-6 versatile, high-performance HTTP s ii debconf 1.4.49 Debian configuration management sy ii libphp-adodb 4.52-1 The 'adodb' database abstraction l ii logrotate 3.7-2.1 Log rotation utility ii mysql-client 4.0.24-9 mysql database client binaries ii php4 4:4.3.10-15 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii php4-cli 4:4.3.10-15 command-line interpreter for the p ii php4-mysql 4:4.3.10-15 MySQL module for php4 ii php4-snmp 4:4.3.10-15 SNMP module for php4 ii rrdtool 1.0.49-1 Time-series data storage and displ ii snmp 5.1.2-6.1 NET SNMP (Simple Network Managemen ii ucf 1.18 Update Configuration File: preserv - -- debconf information: * cacti/username: cacti * cacti/mysql_server: localhost * cacti/webserver: Apache cacti/upgrade_warning: * cacti/database: cacti cacti/mismatch: cacti/save_rootpw: true cacti/root_mysql: root * cacti/no_automagic: cacti/purge_db: true -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFCiYkLSTv4ppQVDnwRAmgrAJ96ozYf4dvWLM115LP0T2GuuYzgZQCfXFv9 PLV6IhVY1bLORIqlgZR+lM0= =nKnc -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
