Package: clamav-base Version: 0.84-2 Severity: minor Hi,
I just tried to reconfigure ClamAV to enable syslog-logging and disable file-logging. Enabling syslog-logging worked like a charm. On the other hand, while the debconf message explains that an empty answer to the clamav-base/LogFile will lead to disabling file-logging, it does not work, as the config script immediately resets the template to the default /var/log/clamav/clamav.log value. This is rather confusing. Fortunately, as you are using ucf, I can nuke the corresponding line in /etc/clamscan/clamd.conf, and it won't come back.
