I can't reproduce this. Would it be possible for you to take a state
snapshot with aptitude-create-state-bundle and put that file somewhere
that I can download it?
The only thing I can think of is that you have a display limit set up
that would exclude ttf-mathematica4.1, perhaps because it's in contrib,
but then I don't know why it would show up in the main package list.
