Yes, I am still using BINS but I am not activelly maintaining it, sorry. Bins was more or less orphaned [1] last year. Since I use it I volunteered to take it. Martin Zobel-Helas also volunteered and he created a project on alioth [2] but never did anything on the package :-(. You are welcome to co-maintain or maintain bins if you like. Now you are no more the DPL you should have more free time :-) I can add you to the alioth project and to the Uploaders: field. Just tell me.
