Tim, I didn't recieve your message from Mar 8 directly, and only noticed it just now in the BTS.
It's a little hard to say if IceDove handles this differently, since I'm not quite sure yet what the 'this' is that is causing Evolution to behave this way. In any case, I have not seen email disappear on IceDove. If the server is unaivalable for carrying out the move, I just get a warning: Failed to connect to server so-and-so. Oh, and yes, this bug was the reason for moving to IceDove. I have in the meantime tried to reproduce this Evolution bug, but have not succeeded yet.
