Probably the Ubuntu autobuilders built the package outside /home, so the
problem does not show up there. I would assume it is present anyway
(look for etc/GNU in the strace output to see where they built Emacs).

I think I'll merge with the other ones. BTW, the emacs22 packages in
sid have the bug as well.
