Package: apache2-mpm-prefork
Version: 2.2.8-1
Severity: normal

The log rotation does'nt go well. apache2
continued to write in /var/log/apache2/error.log.1 until I
restart it.
I have received this mail from root :

I have done what is suggested i.e. edit /etc/apache2/envvars adding

APACHE_PID_FILE=/var/run/apache2.pid
export APACHE_PID_FILE

I must wait now a week for the change to take an effect.
