Package: lm-sensors-2.4.27-4-686 Version: 1:2.9.1-1sarge4 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
The latest "-4" version of the lm-sensors package for 2.4.27 kernel does not contain the compiled object files, namely the files that should be installed in the directories: /lib/modules/2.4.27-4-686/kernel/drivers/i2c/busses /lib/modules/2.4.27-4-686/kernel/drivers/i2c/chips Those files are present in the previous "-3" version of the package, so I think this is not a normal situation. The effect is that you cannot load those modules in the current version of Debian's 2.4.27 kernel... best regards, blueshade. ps. The problem possibly affects other versions of the -4 kernel... -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-4-686 Locale: LANG=pl_PL.iso88592, LC_CTYPE=pl_PL.iso88592 (charmap=ISO-8859-2) Versions of packages lm-sensors-2.4.27-4-686 depends on: ii i2c-2.4.27-4-686 1:2.9.1-1sarge2 drivers for the i2c bus ii kernel-image-2.4.27-4-68 2.4.27-10sarge7 Linux kernel image for version 2.4 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
