Package: mutt Version: 1.5.13-1.1etch1 Severity: normal Apparently, when mails are marked as deleted in mutt, it does not pass the state change to the IMAP server until the messages are actually expunged. This causes data loss (sometimes serious) when a folder is closed without an expunge, because mutt actually throws away information about which messages are deleted.
As a workaround, I have "bind index x noop" in my configuration file, but I'd rather see delete flags synced to the server immediately.
