Hm, interesting... could you give the following output: G_DEBUG=fatal_warnings GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1 GST_DEBUG=5 gst-inspect-0.10 &> log Once for no ~/.gstreamer-0.10/registry.i486.bin and once with it. Name it log1 and log2 maybe... Would be nice to know what exactly fails while reading the registry.
