Subject: ftp.debian.org: ftp.fr.debian.org and ftp2.fr.debian.org differ Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
*** Please type your report below this line *** I mirror debian-main and debian-security repositories from ftp2.fr.debian.org (this is the nearest for me), and some days ago, I noticed incoherent MD5 checks on some packages. I took one faulty package, grabbed it from the 2 FTP sites, and ran md5sum on both files: a6e72ffe2e78c98e26b896e2e3268eb7 libpango1.0-dev_1.20.0-1_i386(2).deb 0c6b5c7548309202d06bc41d5385ee9b libpango1.0-dev_1.20.0-1_i386.deb the (2) version has been taken from ftp2.fr.debian.org. This makes systems un-updatable. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.23-ea2 (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- Erwann. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
