If it's version 2.14.1-4 of python-gobject, that version does absolutely
nothing to solve this problem. I tested rhythmbox against that version
before reporting the stacktrace here.

No i got the same version of python-gobject.

As i suggested may be it's a python bug... which would then been solved by
moving to python 2.5 ?!?
