It's even worse now with 2.2.80-95-3 where it seems to be succesful but fails with: touch build-doc-stamp dpkg-genchanges -B -mDebian amd64 Build Daemon <buildd_i386-excelsior> >../libspe2_2.2.80-95-3_amd64.changes dpkg-genchanges: arch-specific upload - not including arch-independent packages dpkg-genchanges: failure: cannot read files list file: No such file or directory dpkg-buildpackage: failure: dpkg-genchanges gave error exit status 2 Atleast the previous version gave an idea that it might be an architecture specific package. Please make the package just fail to build as early as possible on non-supported arches. Building the documentation on them isn't useful, specially if you have an arch all -doc package for it.
