I understand that this is an annoying bug, however uploads to debian stable
are _strongly_ restricted.
Basically, a package should only be uploaded to stable if one of the following
happens:
* a truly critical functionality problem
* the package becomes uninstallable
* a released architecture lacks the package

so I do not think that this bug qualifies for s-p-u :S
