Package: mplayer
Version: 1.0~rc2-10
Severity: normal
Hi,
I'm using mplayer on my laptop under sid. This laptop is a
centrino. Usually I compile my kernel myself. When I have compiled the
last kernel 2.6.25 and boot on it, I have noticed that mplayer
randomly crashes. So I have thought that I have done a mistake in the
config. Yesterday 2.6.25 is arrived under sid. So I have installed the
486 version and boot on it. THe problem is still there :
I have for example a flash file (it appears with all video formats I
have tested). When I click on it mplayer crashes or not with the
common error :
MPlayer crashed by bad usage of CPU/FPU/RAM
What can I do to give you more infos ?
here is the output of gmplayer -v (it doesn't appears with mplayer or
not often...) :

- MPlayer crashed by bad usage of CPU/FPU/RAM.
Recompile MPlayer with --enable-debug and make a 'gdb' backtrace and

[x11] NET style stay on top (layer 0). Using state _NET_WM_STATE_ABOVE.
- MPlayer crashed. This shouldn't happen.
It can be a bug in the MPlayer code _or_ in your drivers _or_ in your
gcc version. If you think it's MPlayer's fault, please read
DOCS/HTML/en/bugreports.html and follow the instructions there. We
can't and
won't help unless you provide this information when reporting a
possible bug.
zsh: exit 1 gmplayer -v FlashHdyL9u

Guillaume
