Hi Christian,

First, I didn't see the report about a "debconf abuse".

Second, can you explain to me why it's a debconf abuse? I'd happily use
dbconfig-common, if only:

1/ The author was responsive
2/ There was consistent documentation
3/ There was a way to have the MySQL root password

I searched, and searched again and again and again, and never find any
answer to my problem, so I wrote this. If you have the solution, I'd be
very happy to use it.
