Hi Bart, I just uninstalled xdg-utils, and it worked with iceweasel (probably because it looks for firefox), but my favorite browser is not iceweasel. When I then uninstalled iceweasel it stopped to work, again.
Now I install xdg-utils back (without iceweasel), and it opens the url with my favorite browser.
