And what right do you think you have to insult me?  May I remind you that not
everyone is a programmer /pur sang/ and that this so-called "bashism" is for
me the most efficient and clearest way of installing things.  It has always
worked on several machines, even huge grids, without problems WRT shells.
Not even Lintian has made any remarks on this.

And yes, I have defined DH_ALWAYS_EXCLUDE, but only for typical repository
directories like .git.

All the files inside debian/ have been reviewed by several of my and your
colleagues, and never have they mentioned any problems with it.  I am aware
that not everyone is as revered a polymath as Your Exalted Eminence.

Yet a *little* bit of restraint in your answer would have been more than
appropriate in a civilized conversation.

I shall make the changes you have suggested, but redirect all of your
arrogant remarks straight to /dev/null if you don't mind.
