Hi David, I'm having trouble reproducing this bug. If I wipe all the metadata from a flac file with "metaflac --remove-all", I don't get any segmentation fault. But I wasn't able to just delete the vendor tag with metaflac; maybe you can produce the correct command line for doing that.
