Package: libpod-simple-perl Version: 3.05-2 Severity: normal This package ships the perlpod and perlpodspec documents (in both pod and troff formats), overriding the versions in the perl-doc package. I'm not sure which (if either) is the canonical document, but the one in the core has had a section on "=encoding" since 2003 (Perl change 21137) while it's still not in the Pod-Simple one.
If we really need to ship this package, either renaming or removing the conflicting documents seems to be in order, and I think it's clear that perl-doc has a better claim to the names.
