Package: laptop-mode-tools Version: 1.42-1 Severity: normal
The configuration file /etc/laptop-mode/conf.d/hal-polling.conf contains this lines: | # Enable HAL polling on battery | BATT_ENABLE_HAL_POLLING=0 The comment is actually right, when ENABLE_HAL_POLLING is set to zero, HAL polling is enabled, while it is disabled when ENABLE_HAL_POLLING is set to one. But this is against all other configuration options of laptop-mode-tools where something is enabled by setting it to 1 and disabled by setting it to 0. So this option should be better named BATT_DISABLE_HAL_POLLING=0 (likewise for AC_ENABLE_HAL_POLLING -> AC_DISABLE_HAL_POLLING). -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.23.12 (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages laptop-mode-tools depends on: ii lsb-base 3.2-12 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip ii util-linux 2.13.1.1-1 Miscellaneous system utilities Versions of packages laptop-mode-tools recommends: ii acpid 1.0.6-5.1 Utilities for using ACPI power man ii hal 0.5.11-1 Hardware Abstraction Layer ii hdparm 8.6-1 tune hard disk parameters for high ii sdparm 1.02-1 Output and modify SCSI device para -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
