Package: ejabberd Version: 2.0.0-7 Severity: important
if ejabberd runs with long (erlang) host names ejabberdctl does not work. ejabberdctl tries to run with the following command: "exec /usr/bin/erl -name ejabberddebug -remsh [EMAIL PROTECTED]" The problem is, -name expects a long hostname. The right option would be "-name [EMAIL PROTECTED]". cu, michael -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (991, 'unstable'), (500, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.23-grml64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.iso885915, LC_CTYPE=en_US.iso885915 (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages ejabberd depends on: ii adduser 3.107 add and remove users and groups ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.14 Debian configuration management sy ii erlang-base [erlang-abi 1:12.b.2-dfsg-1 Concurrent, real-time, distributed ii erlang-nox 1:12.b.2-dfsg-1 Concurrent, real-time, distributed ii libc6 2.7-3 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libexpat1 1.95.8-4 XML parsing C library - runtime li ii libpam0g 0.99.7.1-3 Pluggable Authentication Modules l ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8g-10 SSL shared libraries ii openssl 0.9.8g-4 Secure Socket Layer (SSL) binary a ii ucf 3.001 Update Configuration File: preserv ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-7 compression library - runtime ejabberd recommends no packages. -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
