I don't have access to a dl385 so I might need you to test some things for me.

You mention that it happens on both the 2.0-3 and 2.0-4 so it doesn't seem to 
be related to the memory leak and devfs changes that happened in -4. That's 
good.

Your report is for 2.6.11, have you tried the 2.6.8 that will ship with sarge?
You say the kernel is a "vanilla 2.6.11", is that a 2.6.11 kernel from 
unstable or something you built yourself?

Both packages work fine on my dl360 here with 2.6.8, I will test with 2.6.11 
and send the results to this bug.

I have no reports (good or bad) or someone using this package on an amd64 
system, you might be the first to try it.
