Please use the 2.6.25 kernel and add union=aufs to your
pxelinux.cfg. This works.
I know that unionfs in kernel 2.6.24 is broken.
If you use this line in your sources.list, you will have the new
kernel and live-initramfs and klibc-utils which work using an etch
nfsroot.
