Hello there, I'm haivng a weird beahviour our of gnome-terminal which I can trigger reliably with powertop but I think it should be related perahps to the use of ncurses of something like that. I do have quite a few terminal windows open at all time (usually 7) 1 in the first workspace, 4 (2 on top and 2 on bottom) on the second one and 2 (vertically maximized) in the third. When I run powertop *the first* time after a reboot or restart, the windows on worskpace 1 and 2 are moved on the top left corner of the display (and in the case of workspace 2 are all piled up under each other). The 3rd workspace is a bit more interesting since one of the windows remains correctly placed while the other is resized to default and move on the top-left corner like the others. This is happen onlye the first time I run powertop and after a few seconds of starting it (I guess till the incrimination ncurses call is made?). After I repositioned the terminals I can re-run powertop at my hearth content and all is well.
