This bug does not seem to be going anywhere, so here's a clarification:
If you want to see this driver in the Debian package, the minimal thing
to do is to provide a working patch. The driver included in the attached
patch will not build as-is. It will require at least one or two small
changes.
I also suspect that the driver will require quite a few bug fixes. It is
based on wctdm, and wctdm has recieved quite a few fixes from Digium,
even in the time it was officially considered "obsolete hardware".
I would like to know that someone actively maitains the drivers we have
in the zaptel package.
