Debian Policy's Best Packaging Practices chapter <URL:http://www.debian.org/doc/developers-reference/ch-best-pkging-practices> recommends in ยง6.2.2 that the synopsis should *not* be capitalised like the start of a sentence. The correct name of X is "The X Window System" or other variants as described on the manpage ('man X'), never "X Windows System".
