Bug#475446: compilation results with gcc 4.2 and gcc4.3

I have compiled genisoimage 1.1.8 with gcc4.2 (on 4th july)  and gcc4.3 
(today).
and generated iso.images with it.

Both images played with panasonic dvd-recorder
But the original  1.1.8 deb.package didn't play on panasonic dvd-recorder

So, is  it a compiler issue?
