Package: console-data Version: 2:1.07-5 Followup-For: Bug #417850
Installed kbd and reconfigured console-data so that it would reinstall the br-abnt2 keymap, and it's fine.
And what happens when you re-re-install console-common?
After apt-get --reinstall install console-common ...the capslock key functions normally. If any further info would be helpful, I'd be happy to try troubleshooting if I can be told what to try.... -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.25-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages console-data depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.22 Debian configuration management sy Versions of packages console-data recommends: ii console-common 0.7.79 basic infrastructure for text cons ii kbd 1.14.1-4 Linux console font and keytable ut -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
