After upgrading from galeon/2.0.4-1 to galeon/2.0.6-1, it seems that the myportal feature does not work any longer! Whenever I open a new tab, galeon tries to load the myportal: URL (since I have this location set as home page in my preferences), but fails miserably with the following error message (in a dedicated window): myportal is not a registered protocol The shown page is completely blank, until I load another URL. This is a regression, since the myportal feature used to work like a charm up to galeon/2.0.4-1. Actually it had worked for a long time, since the very first version of galeon I saw, before woody release (back in 2001 or 2002, I think). This is a *significant* regression, from my point of view, since the myportal feature is one of the key advantages of galeon over other web browsers: it helps to speed up my web navigation experience in a non-neglible manner! I don't know whether this regression is Debian-specific, hence I'm reporting here (please forward to upstream, if appropriate). Other browsers (like Epiphany, e.g.) do not have this feature, AFAICT, hence there's no way to reproduce this regression on them.
