Hi,

I tried the new version of this package:

$ dpkg-query -l "xserver-xorg*" | grep "^ii"

ii  xserver-xorg-video-ati            1:6.9.0-1                   X.Org X
server -- ATI display driver wrapper
ii  xserver-xorg-video-mach64         6.8.0-1                     X.Org X
server -- ATI Mach64 display driver
ii  xserver-xorg-video-r128           6.8.0-1                     X.Org X
server -- ATI r128 display driver
ii  xserver-xorg-video-radeon         1:6.9.0-1                   X.Org X
server -- ATI Radeon display driver

Even with this version, I have no other solution than putting the setting:
                Option "DRI" "off"
in the configuration file xorg.conf.
The X window system feels very slow with this option...

Thanks for any suggestions,

Dimitri
