Yes, unfortunately it is. I just tested 0.97-41 and it still has the problem. The last version that doesn't have the problem is grub-0.97-32 -- I've been having to force downgrade back to that version and then keep the package on hold. Pavel Roskin on the grub-devel mailing list made a suggestion that the problem might be fixed by having Grub check the magic number on the first sector of the partition to see if it's an Apple partition or a PC partition: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/grub-devel/2008-04/msg00077.html Unfortunately I haven't been able to figure out how to implement his suggestion yet. I think the magic number Pavel was talking about is actually 0xAA55 based on this: http://developer.apple.com/documentation/Darwin/Reference/ManPages/man8/fdisk.8.html I'll bring it up on the grub-devel mailing list again to see if I can get some help figuring out how to get this fixed. -- Chris -- Chris Knadle [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
