Alright, thanks Josselin for replying so quickly.
It would be nice if someone interested could step in and rework deeply
this backend, or even rewrite it; the code is not so big.
Unfortunately I do not code; I wouldn't be able to handle that, but
anyway I'll ask around for some Python lovers to look for it.
