I agree that if we can get neither gnat-glade nor polyorb to work, we'll have to admit defeat.
However I would suggest one last attempt. I see that libgarlic-dev contains the following files which are redundant with files in gnat-4.3: s-dsaser.ads s-parint.adb s-parint.ads s-rpc.adb s-rpc.ads s-shasto.adb s-shasto.ads s-stratt.adb Are these files very different between gnat-4.3 and libgarlic-dev? My suggestion is to delete these files from libgarlic-dev, rebuild gnat-glade using the files from gnat-4.3, and see what happens.
