The bug you found should be fixed in 1.0.1-4 currently in unstable.
Can you test it and report me if the fix really works ?
The fix has been backported from upstream but, as I requested a freeze
exception for this bug (so that the fixed version will be in lenny),
I would like to be sure it works correctly and really fix the bug.
You can try it before it comes in testing by downloading mercurial and
mercurial-common on packages.debian.org and installing it by hand (with dpkg
-i).
