Yes, this is causing the problem. The ipmi plugin does not need libOpenIPMIutils and for some reason I removed libOpenIPMI as well :-/ Anyway, OpenIPMIpthread.pc has been fixed in 2.0.14-1, so that BUILD_WITH_OPENIPMI_LIBS work around is no longer required. A fixed package will be uploaded within the next few days. Simply rebuilding collectd with libopenipmi-dev 2.0.14-1 does the job as well, by the way. Thanks for reporting this!
