Package: manpages-de Version: 0.5-4.1 Severity: minor Tags: l10n Hi,
the manpage of ps(1) contains the following formulation: "--cumulative Daten von toten Kindern einbeziehen (als Summe zusammen mit den Eltern)" Speaking of "dead childs" is neither political nor ethically correct and might cause people to think of Debian as the butcher OS instead of the universal OS. Besides that: Even the english manpage does not speak about "dead childs", but of "dead child process data" which makes me guess that the writer of the original manpage was aware of the potential problem. I'd suggest the following formulation instead: "--cumulative Daten von toten Kind-Prozessen einbeziehen (in Summe mit den Eltern-Prozessen)" Best Regards, Patrick Schönfeld -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash manpages-de depends on no packages. manpages-de recommends no packages.
