Just another remark: I think it's a pity that this bug hasn't been fixed yet. I was just bitten by it again (on upgrade to 2.9.21.1-1~bpo40+1) and I would regret to see this one end up in the Lenny release.
As things look now, /etc/powerdns/pdns.d/pdns.local is broken severely on every upgrade, when multi-line options are used. Isn't that RC? Best regards, Martijn Grendelman
