Tried doing this on a Debian machine (mix of various
stable/testing/unstable) and couldn't initially reproduce it. However,
I've manage to notice that the particular data structure being used is
actually an FFMPEG one, and that this data structure format gets
changed at
http://svn.mplayerhq.hu/ffmpeg/trunk/libavformat/avformat.h?view=diff&r1=11070&r2=11071
which is on 2007-11-21 and this allowed me to narrow things down.
Specifically, paraview will FTBFS on versions of libavformat-dev
before that (e.g. the 0.cvs20060823-8 in etch and the version I had
earlier in Ubuntu) but should be ok (certainly won't fail in this way)
with later versions.

This isn't critical for Debian testing or unstable systems, but
something noting this would be of use to backporters like myself.

Thanks!

Tom
