Sorry, I tried different word-lists (wngerman was the one with 300.000+ entries) - english, british and even cleared the wordlist once: Loading dictionary [/usr/share/dict/words]... [0] words Also, I tried de-installing aspell and installing the most recent version - the problem persists: An indefinitely long hang on start-up.
