There's no reason not to enable the exec:// feature by default.
It's widely used and every time there is an upgrade I need to recompile
from the source package, and it's quite annoying.
I also wish you accept to introduce in the upstream package the OpenWrt
patch
(https://dev.openwrt.org/cgi-bin/trac.fcgi/attachment/ticket/1875/rrdcollect_loglevel.patch)
to make rrdcollect less verbose (unless the logs file are unreadable and
unuseful).
