That would be a consequence of the feature I'm interested in: Enter the browse-screen (3) from one of the entries of the search-screen (5) by hitting a particular key (eg. 'g' for 'goto'). I've played around with the code, but due to the very C-ish structure, I was unable to find a way to tell the browse-screen to open up in a certain directory, without major intrusion.
