Hello, The patch upstream made to fix the bug is quite trivial:

I am trying to reproduce the bug to try out the fix and up to now I've been unable. It may be that I am using a version of a library that is too new and in which the call to g_volume_monitor_get_volumes() doesn't return the "bad" device. I'll try a bit more to reproduce it, and prepare an upload with the patch included.
