On my system, Firefox is configured to prompt when a site tries to set a cookie, with the standard accept, accept for session and reject options. Since the last upgrade, this dialogue has been garbled and unusable. It just has the "more info" button and the "use my choice for all cookies from this site" selection box. The cookie information is not presented, and there is some garbled red text beneath it.
