Package: cfortran Version: 4.4-12 Severity: wishlist cfortran.h shouldn't make any assumption about what FORTRAN compiler the user has chosen. Presently, cfortran.h assumes that the FORTRAN code has been compiled with g77/gfortran if symbols "__GCC__" and "linux" are defined when compiling C/C++; however, one might use gcc to compile the C/C++ source and a non-GNU compiler for the FORTRAN part.
The chosen FORTRAN compiler should be specified manually at compile time, either with a -D switch or with a #define statement in the C/C++ source code, according to the directions in README.Debian. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.25-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=it_IT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=it_IT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash cfortran depends on no packages.
