It seems natural to me that properties are part of an index. When I am not sure if something exists in the current version of Octave, I look for it in the index with the "i" command of Info, and if I cannot find it I assume it does not exist. Or else, as in this case, I search in the whole manual and, after finding it, I send a bug report :) Probably there should be one more index for properties.
